Adopt a Greyhound Inc. was established as an independent non-profit organization in 1990, dedicated to finding safe, loving homes for retired racing greyhounds. 

Once their racing careers have ended, all greyhounds that come to us receive their shots, are  spayed or neutered, have their teeth cleaned and are wormed and groomed. They are housed in roomy facilities of  River Bend Farm Kennels until they are adopted. Some of this expense is offset by the adoption donation.  

We work diligently to match the right dog with a prospective adopter.  However, if for any reason an adoption does not work out, the dog can be returned to us.
